User Code of Conduct

In using the LearnIt Platform, you acknowledge your understanding of this User Code of Conduct and agree to:

• comply with all applicable laws, including privacy, intellectual-property, anti-spam, and tax laws;
• provide accurate information to LearnIt and keep it updated, including any information required by our Refund and Payment Policy once payments launch;
• use the Services and the LearnIt Platform in a lawful and proper manner; and
• follow the standards of conduct set out below.

Any use of the LearnIt Platform that we, in our sole discretion, find inappropriate or offensive may result in suspension or termination of a User account, with or without notice.

You agree that you will not, and will not authorize or facilitate any attempt by another person to:

1. provide or accept tutoring services with another User by bypassing the LearnIt Platform;
2. once payments launch, receive payment from a Student directly, or encourage or solicit payment from a Student directly or through any channel other than those made available via the LearnIt Platform, with the aim of bypassing the Platform or avoiding fees owed to LearnIt;
3. manipulate pricing or interfere with another User's listing;
4. disrupt or interfere with another User's use of the Services;
5. transmit User-Generated Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, offensive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
6. once payments launch, circumvent or manipulate the fee structure or billing process, or fail to deliver payment for services purchased, unless the Tutor materially changed the service, a clear error was made, or the Tutor cannot be reached;
7. fail to deliver tutoring services purchased from you, unless caused by the Student;
8. use a name or language that LearnIt, in its sole discretion, deems offensive;
9. post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous information, including personal data;
10. post hateful or racially or ethnically objectionable content;
11. post content that infringes another's copyright, trademark, or trade secret;
12. disclose confidential information or personal data obtained from another User or through your use of the Platform;
13. advertise or sell goods or services unrelated to tutoring through the LearnIt Platform;
14. take any action that may undermine the review or rating system;
15. harass, threaten, or intentionally embarrass or distress another User, person, or entity;
16. impersonate another person using their personally identifiable information;
17. promote or participate in any multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme;
18. exploit children under 18 years of age;
19. engage in disruptive activity, such as sending multiple messages to monopolize a User's attention;
20. adapt, alter, sublicense, or translate the Services for your own personal or commercial use;
21. introduce viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other harmful code to the LearnIt Platform;
22. obtain unauthorized access to any computer system through the LearnIt Platform;
23. transfer your LearnIt account or login credentials to another party without our consent;
24. harvest or otherwise collect information about Users, including email addresses, without their consent;
25. invade the privacy of any person, including by posting personally identifying or otherwise private information about them without their consent (or, for a minor aged 13–17, without their parent's or legal guardian's consent);
26. solicit personal data from children under 18 years of age;
27. violate any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
28. encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal or civil offense;
29. engage in or promote the illegal trafficking of persons, including forced labor;
30. use the Services for the purpose of cheating rather than facilitating learning;
31. inquire about hiring, or hire, a Tutor to complete assignments, write papers, take quizzes, or otherwise do work on your behalf;
32. use the Services for any purpose that violates the academic-honesty or conduct policies of your school, university, or workplace; or
33. sell, resell, license, sublicense, distribute, rent, lease, or otherwise provide access to the Services to any third party, except as explicitly authorized in writing by LearnIt.
